So, the 4000MHz kit is cheaper? Get the 4000MHz kit. The total latency isn't that much different, so it's just basically more bandwidth for cheaper.

 

It's not likely you'll be able to actually run it at 4000MHz, at least 1:1 with the FCLK, but you can roll it over into tighter timings.

Maybe look at 4400mhz ram if you actually want to tune your ram like the patriot viper steel rams

 

Otherwise go for 3600mhz cl16 ram like ballistix, cause tridentz is pretty overpriced

you need lot of practice and time to oc ram and i mean 30$ more.  if i  was droping  200+ on ram why bother to oc it i would practice on a cheap set first
