USB boot not recognised by the pc

Go to solution Solved by ZalimBunny,

Got it finally.

It seems that though they say that B550 is Gen 3 ready I needed to Q Flash BIOS update. Did that, and now windows is installing

So guys I completed my first build.

Hurraaahhh!!

But😔😔😔

I made Windows installation media and I tried to boot from the flash drive but nothing is happening.

Half the time BIOS doesn't recognize that there is a USB device.

And when it does and I boot from it then it freezes on Gigabyte Logo screen!!!

What to do???

I am using an old Flash drive. Do I buy a new one and make installation media on that???

Do I upgrade my BIOS??

My specs:-

Ryzen 5600x

MSI RTX2060 Ventuos

32 GB ram

Gigabyte B550M DS3H motherboard

Try plugging the USB stick in to one of the back USB ports on the motherboard. One of the top ones.  Sometimes the bios can get a bit fussy with the fronts/chipset ports.

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!
