New GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6600 XT Gaming OC 8G

Kraudi

Hey guys,

hope you doing great rn.

Just saw this new Radeon rx 6600 xt and i wanna know if this could be a

more or less cheap and overall powerfull grafics gard. I wonder if it

would be a good investment within a price of 450 €.

I would love to buy a gpu right now, best would be a rtx 3060, but i am not

willing to buy those at such high price.

So does anyone has any advice for me if it would be worth to buy this one?

It's not too bad with current pricing. It performs pretty much the same as a 3060 so get whichever is the cheapest.

AMD often has bad drivers at launch and improve later. For example a 5500 XT was worse than a 580 and 1650 Super, now its faster than a 590 and between the 1660 and 1660 Super. 5700 XT was also a mess first

Its solidly faster than a 3060, and from what i've seen so far, is selling for significantly less money.

Buying a 5700XT or even a 1080 used would be a better deal, but if it's all you could find it's OK.

What are you smoking? The 5700XT costs more SH than the 6600XT costs new, and you lose warranty. Same for 1080, only this one also performs worse.

Or do you mean he should go back in time to buy a GPU 1 or 2 years ago?

Well, where I am it costs less if you know where to look. Just doesn't seem like a good deal buying a new 1080 card at that price point when you could get a good 1080, 5700 or even 980 for much less.
