144hz DVI-D Monitor on DisplayPort or HDMI

Hello!
My primary monitor is a BenQ XL2411 144hz 1080p monitor. Sadly out of the three connectors (HDMI, DVI-D, VGA) only DVI-D supports the full 144hz refresh rate.

Since i plan to buy a new GPU (6800 or 6800XT) I will need an adapter to use 144hz.

 

What adapter should i buy?

I have no issues wih buying used stuff, but it should be located in europe to keep down shipping cost

Buying a new 144Hz monitor with DP is almost cheaper than an active HDMI/DP to Dual Link DVI adapter. (because that's what you need)
