I probably shorted my gpu

I was in a big rush and i had to clean my apartment and for some reason i decided to vacuum clean my pc and not turn it off. I accidentally touched my gpu with the vacuum cleaner and i forgot that we had a 40 yo vacuum cleaner and the pipe was metal. So that made my pc turn off. I've tried different slots ect. And i've tried wirh a dofferent gpu and it worked. So its the gpu. So is there a way to fix it? When i press the power burton, it turns on for half a sec and turns off.

Probably cooked. When you remove the cooler I wouldn't be surprised you see some black burn marks from a short.

 

Let this be a less for next time. Also use compressed air for cleaning a pc a vacuum cleaner is rarely strong enough for it and does generate static electricity.

If you are lucky its only a blown capacitor, those can be replaced relatively easy if you have some soldering skill.
