Hi everyone I overclock my msi gtx 670 power edition using msi afterburner (Power Limit 114% Core Clock +100 Memery Clock +50) and I run some stress test and stability test everything is fine but whenever I try to play a game (GTA V) it just crash after like 5 minutes of gameplay and sometimes it just shuts down (not that often)

Cpu: amd phenom ii x4 965 Black Edition

Ram: Puskill DDR3 8GB x2

Kingston DDR3 2GB x2 (IDK any of the frequency but HWINFO says it's all running at 726.7MHz)

Gpu: msi gtx 670 power edition

Storage: x1 ssd x2 hdd

PSU: Cooler Master GX750 - CM STORM EDITION

Cooler: AIGO DARKFLASH TRACER DT-240

so couple of things. power limit you shouldnt touch, especially with an already older card. Its like giving a grandma extasy, might not take it to well… 😅

also +100, +50 seems sound, try that *without* touching the power limit (see above)

and also while you might see some improvements, it wont be much (3-5 fps *maybe*)

lastly can also try +25 core + 150 memory, something like that, +50 core might already be too much (if unlucky) gotta play around a bit with this to see whats stable.
