Top two speakers of LG SK9Y smell burnt, but soundbar works normally.

The burnt plastic smell is very weak-I have to sniff the speaker very close to smell it. The perimeter of the soundbar smells ok. Despite that, the soundbar works normally, like nothing is damaged. Could I have damaged something?

if the external speakers have their own amp in them that could just be hot electronic smell. my monitor speakers have it especially when cranking them up.

If damaged, will the burning smell be stronger?
