hi guys, i have strange issue that appeared quite recently and i'm frustrated because it's weekend and my pc is kinda unusable

so after i start playing any game my display drivers crash and fail to restart themselves - all screens are black and say no connection

so i restart pc and it's still like that, after few boots it finally fixes itself and again few minutes of load and driver crash

tried reseating gpu, changing cables, removing drivers and installing previous version that worked hell i even went ahead and completely formated my windows drive and nothing changes

BUT after i underclock my gpu it stops doing that, but i didn't buy it to have performance of lower tier gpu

so my question is can it be that my not even 2 year old gpu is already dying ? or is there something else that can cause this

oh and no GPU is not overheating (and it never did - max temps it reaches is 80 C), didn't oc it past what is done by gigabyte, everything was working fine last week and now suddenly its crashing

here are specs:

CPU:       i7 9700k (OC 4.9GHz)

RAM:      32 gb 3600mhz trident z neo

MOBO:   aorus z390 pro wifi

PSU:       corsair hx1000 (1000W plat rated)

GPU:       Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super Windforce OC 8G

update: now it started to do same thing even if underclocked to a max that msi afterburner alows me ( -500 clock and -500 memory)

also it seems that after power cycle it starts up with no problems

and i tried a couple of things and nothing new: second pci slot, removing 1 stick of memory at time, underclock cpu

oh and i didn't say it earlier

when it crashes fans ramp up to 100% black screen (both my screens say no connection) and i hear that whatever game i was running is still on and working
