Recomandation for Linux Distro

Go to solution Solved by Chris Pratt,

Pop_OS! is about as easy as it gets. There's a version with Nvidia proprietary driver support baked in, and you have an actual app store like experience for installing things.

Hello

I've tried to install before linux and i've used fedora or linux mint but the main problem that made me to give up on linux is installing application .

Especially if the distro can't support for example Davinci Resolve then it's a no go for me .

I use the PC especially for gaming and video editing

I understand that for gaming it will not work games such as Valorant , League of Legends ( i managed to install LOL on Linux mint before but it was very laggy )

I was thinking about ubuntu witch but i'm not sure .

I want also that distro to be more easy to user for a person who is comming from windows .

I'd like your opinion about it ,

Thank you .

If gaming and video editing are what you're after, you should just stick with Windows.

Ryzen 1600x @4GHz

Asus GTX 1070 8GB @1900MHz

16 GB HyperX DDR4 @3000MHz

Asus Prime X370 Pro

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

Noctua NH-U14S

Seasonic M12II 620W

+ four different mechanical drives.
