GPU makes buzzing noise when under load

Go to solution Solved by RONOTHAN##,

It's probably coil whine. It's normal and does not damage the card. If it gets worse when playing higher FPS games (CS:GO for example), it's almost certainly coil whine. You can look up a video of what it sounds like if you want to make sure.

Hello, so recently I've upgraded from an R7 370 to a 2nd hand RX 580 and I've noticed that it makes a weird electrical buzzing noise when under load (when I play games). It's not really bothering me but I'm wondering if I should just ignore it or if I should be worried that there is something wrong with the GPU. Thank you in advance.

It does get worse sometimes when playing games, so it's probably coil whine. Glad it's nothing serious. Thanks!
