OSArmor?

Better? Yes. For free? Probably not. Pretty much any anti-malware tool has similar features. Most known ofx being Malwarebytes which ofc lacks real-time protection as free feature. Also all anti-virus software do have something.

 

I also have vague memory of some specific tool I used couple years ago, but name escapes me.
