Whats wrong with my pc?

HI,I just build my first pc and it almost everything runs just fine except games.every time I launch game it starts lagging horribly and all the games are unplayable. I dont understand why this is happening because my hardware should be able to run all f those games(CS:GO,Dota 2,LoL,Portal) on high setting.I have asus amd hd radeon 7770,amd athlon II x4 760k and I have 4gb of DDR3 ram.I am also running windows 7 ultimate 32bit. I have installed all the drivers from the disc and all the components seem to be working. Thanks for the answers!

See if any program or app is taking the cpu usage at the background...open task manager and resource monitor to see if there is any cpu hungry program....

i would move to windows 8 because it takes lees resources and also update drivers and make sure nothing is in the back ground

I personally would consider a 64- bit version of windows with 8 gigs of ram. You are more than likely bouncing off the top of your ram. In theory you may be able to strip your system use down low enough to run games better. Shut down any extra programs running in the background. Becareful and only shut down the things that you know what they are.
