Is a 1 year old 2080S sold for 565$ a fair price to be sold at? (Norway/Sold already)

MultiGamerClub

So currently im giving new life to my current graphics card. All im really asking is, is this a fair price?

Currently the used market or avarage marketplace value is about 800$~ plus/minus, but after i put out my graphics card at this lower price..
All other graphic cards dropped their price about 130$ and its just going lower because of my only card being the lowest at the moment.

Its already sold but im asking if this is a fair price for a 2080S?
This is the 2slot PNY triple fan XLR8 version and not the blower type.

Im getting a new 3080TI for 2035$ either today or at monday and the 2080S is getting picked up at tuesday, so i should be all good.

Is this a fair price for a graphics card thats basicly a year old since i purchased it in June 2020? (Just before 3000-series and yeah).

(Or should i just be lucky i get this price in norway for "just" being a generation behind?)

Changed paste at 5nd june 2021 so it should last even longer now too?

Fair in what context? With GPUs being at a premium, it's a good price compared to what else you can generally get for the same amount of money right now.

As for fair in the larger context of a $699 older generation card still going for $580 used years later, not so much. I purchased a 3060 Ti new for $500, and that pretty much matches a 2080 Super in performance. But, not everyone is able to get such a card at such a price.

The avarage used to be 800$ and just too far up and i feel its too much.

Im glad i can sell to someone that can take use of it more than myself.

GPU prices being as high as it is now.. 3060 Ti for 500$? Damn thats a lucky grab 😄

Seeing 3060 and ti's going for 300-400$ plus in norway compared of what im selling mine for..

Norwegian market expects high prices no one wants to go for.

Im just glad im getting rid of my own fast instead of just keeping it around.

Indeed. Got it on launch day standing in line at my local Micro Center. Didn't actually expect I'd get one, as the line was very long, but I just hung out on a whim. Ended up being the second to last in line to get one.
