CPU to pair with my 3060 for VR/Streaming PC.

I need to build a PC that is ready for my VR streaming and i'm still to new at building PC any help on designing this new PC would be great I plan on adding a new 3060. Unless there is a better suited GPU for it that I don't know about. FYI I need a CPU Too.

3060 honestly not worth the money just go for a 3070 when they get back to retail prices.

The 3070 is not a huge jump in price to the 3060 but almost double the performance.

Wouldn't recommend, go for the ryzen 5 3600x on an x570 motherboard

From what I've heard, streaming is CPU intensive, streamers would game on one PC then use a second to stream. This would free some resources for the Gaming PC to run games at full power. I recommend maybe an I7 or Ryzen 7 latest gen to last for your build (11th gen Intel or 5000 series for AMD).

no.... dont do that at all.

A 5600x on a b500 will cost the same and be sooo much better

But for streaming , even on nvenc, a 5800x would be a better buy for the other 2 cores

the 3070 costs 170$ more (theoretical pricing) than a vinilla 3060 for maybe 50% more perf, not double the performance.....

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

My beautiful, but not that powerful, main PC:

I do have a second computer that is mainly set of up for streaming but I need a more powerful computer for my VR setup. I really need help compiling the parts on PCPARTPICKER.
