I recently ordered an LG 32GN600-B , it’s 1440p 165hz , can I use it to get 120 FPS on Ps5?

So I ordered this monitor a week ago to upgrade from my old 1080p monitor , I will be using it mainly on pc but I have recently purchased a Ps5, I know it doesn’t support 1440p but I’ve heard there’s 1440p monitors that support down sampling from 4K to 1440p , my question is , does the new monitor I got support this ? I have not been able to find anything that either proves or denies that it does .

While I am not sure whether the monitor will support the downscaling (it likely will). The PS5 supports Freesync and so does your monitor so it should be able to do 120hz at 1080p with freesync to aid with stutter.

PS5 still doesn't support 1440p resolution. It probably will at some point, but who knows when Sony will get around to that. I'm still waiting on the M.2 drive unlock.
