Hi guys,

Thanks for helping out….
I will definitely be going Ryzen only if someone has a reason to change my mind but if I needed to go for intel it would need be for a good reason and I would like at least an i7. With AMD I am happy with a 3600. I have made a build I was playing around with. I won’t need any monitor, peripherals or OS and I don’t need to overclock, it doesn’t bother me tbh.
This is just a draft build I have put together…..

The only reason I have put in a gt 710 is because even in Australia, the prices are absolutely crazy for a discrete GPU and I am happy to wait until the cards go back to mrsp.

Thanks!

Youll have to use igpu for now

11700k 8 core, why k cpu on a crappy board? Higher power limits, better resale value, and maybe undervolting if you wish

B560m pro vdh, only other cheap b560 was the asus prime, if you would like to overclock in the future or have the extra features of a z series chipset you can get a z490a pro for 110$ more but thats your call if you are fine with being slightly overbudget

Cheap cooler but will be good enough esp when undervolting

To make the igpu more tolerable

Set ram volt to 1.5v, lower the timings to cl14 if possible, maybe 14-14-14-34 and loosen the timings if needed, and overclock the ram freq as much as you can, this will boost igpu performance

Download xtu and overcloxk the igpu that way but i suggest posting a screenshot of what your xtu looks like (once you buy the computer duh)

Thanks,

It was a different approach from mine. I guess the thing that is putting me off is the GPU atm. Although I would like to go for an intel apu I want to hold on to Ryzen. And no, I dont want to buy the Ryzen G series lol…. I think 16gb at 3000 isn’t enough for my needs, that’s why I put the 32gb 3600mhz and I tried to take a decent approach storage wise… A full atx would also be ideal for me but I will see what else others post as well….

Thanks!
