help Extremely high idle temps

tl;dr - pc which I've had for several years had suddenly started to have 90°C cpu temp on idle. All the fans work, cleaned everything just in case, don't know what to do next.

 

Hi all!

I'm completely dumbfounded.

My Oldie but decent pc starter to really show signs of straining in one sudden moment.

 

After a quick check (using Core Temp), I've discovered that each core is sitting on the 90-100°C when the pc is idle.

 

I've made sure that all the fans indeed work and are unblocked by dust.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Specs:

• CPU - i7 3770k (I know, it's old - but does the job)
• GPU - Zotac GTX1060 6GB
• Motherboard- Sabertooth Z77
• RAM - 4x4GB Corsair 2133Hz

Cooling:

• Intake from the front
• Intake from the side panel
• Outake on the top
• All-in-one corsair water cooler, mounted on CPU, and is also used as outake out of the back.

DISCLAIMER - 

I know that the cooling layout is not ideal, but before I change things up I just want to understand why the cooling won't work.

Sounds like the pump might have died on your AIO.

I suspected that, but didn't want to go buy a new one before I was certain.
