Need help picking a PSU

Go to solution Solved by Edgrd,

looks like you can just buy a 500w psu and forget about it, i can recommend the coolermaster mwe v2 bronze, since all my friends use it and they said its solid enough, other members with more experience might be able to point you to a better psu.

Someone else recomended me a 650W but I felt like it was a bit too much, thanks for the help!

650W is okay, gives you quite the headroom to probably upgrade to a 60 RTX card? i think you can probably consult better to an online psu wattage counter, but from what you've shown me it seems like 500w is enough, a 1650 is not that big since one of my friend could run it with a ryzen 5 2600 on a 450W psu just fine.

500W will be plenty for your build

go check out the PSU Tier List thread if you have trouble choosing one

I'd reccomend some unit from seasonic, evga, corsair...

I also agree with other friends saying 500w is good enough, but I would also ask if u ever plan to upgrade your gpu and cpu in future! cause if yes, u might go for the 650w or even 750w for future proof... and don't worry about the extra wattage sitting there... if u see the efficiency graph of the psu, you'd realize what I mean 🙂

I don't plan on upgrading, probably the only upgrade I would do is storage if i ever need it.

then I don't see a good reason for u to go higher than 500w... and for which one I'd suggest to go look at the highest rank 500w in this list :
