upgrade recommendations?

Motherboard: ASUS Strix X99
Processor: i7 6800K

Memory: 32GB HyperX Predator
Graphics Card: x2 1070 in sli

Power Supply: 750W EVGA

Operating System Drive: PCIe NVME SSD 400GB Intel 750

 

considering anything from a 3070-3080ti. not sure if my current CPU will get bottlenecked and if so what would be a recommended mobo+cpu combo. I currently have 2 4k 60hz monitors and plan to add a razer 27in monitor (yes i know there's better choices out there but am a bit of a fanboy)

lastly, is it necessary to switch over from my pice ssd over to a m.2 for better airflow to the gpu?

i think if you currently have a 1070 you shouldnt upgrade the gpu until prices come down as the 3070-3080 do not perform to their current prices and will never perform to those standards

assuming i can find cards close to MSRP price. i can probably sell the 1070s for 200 bucks a pop too

the original pc was a prebuilt so ill be sourcing the gpus from them not scalpers
