What would you recommed for a HTPC/Media Streaming PC?

Budget (including currency): £700-ish

Country: Britain

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Media Streaming, Movie watching mainly. General web browsing. Maybe playing some indie games, though that's unlikely

Other details So I want to build a SFF HTPC/Media streaming PC for the living room so I don't have to keep connecting and disconnecting laptops. I feel like Integrated graphics are the way to go at the moment, but don't really know what the best/least worst option is for CPU's with Integrated graphics for this use case is. I know AMD should be releasing their 5000 series APU's soon, but would they be overkill? Is there a cheaper option available now that would meet my needs?

I'd say get a completely passively cooled system, like a Ryzen 3 3200g, passive heatsink on it, and a gt 710 passive if you want a bit more GPU perf, but for streaming the IGPU should be fine. I recommend a SFF case, and an accompanying sff PSU.

So would you say something like this would be more than useable? I've added memory in the list, but I already have 16Gb of RAM from when I upgraded my gaming rig, so would be using that. The case isn't a final choice either, just a placeholder.

Yeah I'd say so.

For your use case, yes.

Basically anything recent and cheap will do.

Yup.

I'm biased, but I love the idea of going with something passive. I have an Akasa Euler case that I use with my HTPC. The case itself is the heatsink.
