Isn't there a way to verify the integrity of the game files before launching the game. That same thing Steam offers. I remember seeing it on Origin, but couldn't walk you through on how to do it.

For secrutiy and legal reasons you can only play said game from the launcher/company you bought it originally from. You can add it to the libary of another launcher but legally and actual playability you need the original launcher you downloaded it from cause that other launcher will see it as a foreign application.

EX you bought a game from xbox live. And you're playing it on PC. You can't port it over to Steam cause the game doesn't have an authorized STEAM key. Its a Xbox Key and Xbox key's bought from the Microsoft store only work from the Xbox app NOT the steam app.

However if you would have bought the game through the STEAM launcher you could yes use it on steam. The launcher you bought it originally from matters for legal reasons as to avoid any misused keys and or stolen keys.

I love PC building and gaming.
REMEMBER botttlenecks can happen at all points of a PC part. Make sure you are at equilibrium. For all parts unless you intend to upgrade at a later point. Also QA Tested AAA Games.
