Identifying memory die and density

I'm looking at buying a kit of memory that someone's selling, to replace my kit, but I want to know the memory die/density

The model number is Cmk16x4m2b3200c16, a vengance lpx kit.

I believe the x4 means 4x density (am I wrong there?), And the b means B die, but I want to check.

Am I correct?

It is not B-die (samsung). Likely it's SK hynix. 80$ low end kit. 

 

Not sure what the x4 means in the part number though. Probably nothing.

Version 4.xx should be Samsung and Version 5.xx should be Hynix

You could also get them to run Thaiphoon Burner and see if it is Samsung B-Die
