RGB components, definetly not underpowered and RGB haha
But in all seriousness, try to upgrade RGB rather later then sooner, it's easy to fit in afterwards, but I personally would go with a faster CPU instead of RGB

Have fun trying to upgrade to a 3080 just to get bottlenecked by a 6 core

You wanna look fast or actually be fast?

 

I prefer not having a ricer honda civic of a pc but actually a fast sleeper pc, plus case rgb isnt that expensive so if you are fine with downgrading gpu or going overbudget slightly you might still be able to has some rgb

So a 3080 doesnt get bottlenecked by a 5600x?

 

If it doesnt then what gpu will get bottlenecked by an 8 core like 10700f or k?

A 5600X is fine even with an RTX 3090.

 

Not much difference between the 5600X and 5800X/5900X in the review below for the majority of games. They are using an RTX 3090 for the gaming benchmarks. In reality most people would be running 1440p or 4k with that gpu.

The op has said he is just gaming, so a 6 core is going to be fine. He still has the option to upgrade the cpu later on if need be.

Plus theres quite abit of budget headroom so maybe go for 11700 instead

The 11700 is basically a middleground between 5600 and 5800, 8 cores and still pretty good single core if you lock the max multi to all cores and raise bclk to 103

 

Good futureproofing whilst still being rather cheap, though yea the 5800x will prob beat it in single core still but not by much

 

The 11700 also has a decent igpu whereas the 5800x doesnt have an igpu, so if you wanna wait for gpu prices to come down you can just overclock the igpu on the 11700 with xtu or in the bios and use that for awhile

I really would stick with a 5600X, you get PCIe Gen4, the 6 Cores you need for gaming and futureproofing in form of PCIe Gen4.

You can go with 8 Cores but I would stick with 6 and focus on the GPU. In my build for music production I decided between the 5600X, 5800X and 5900X because most of the time you wont saturate most of your cores anyways. So stick with a 6 Core CPU spec the rest out to a premium. The 5600X is also overclockable with a good Motherboard, like the Gigabyte Aorus Pro V2 or something in that direction

The cpu and board in your list is fine if you want AMD. If you want Intel then an 11400/11500 and a B560 board like the Gigabyte B560M Aorus Pro/AX.
