Budget (including currency): $4,500 AUD

Country: AUS (Adelaide specifically)

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: CoD, Warhammer 3, Battlefield, For Honor, also want to be able to stream and video edit

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I know want a Ryzen system (Ideally a Ryzen 9 5900) and I know I want a 3000 series graphics card or equivilent and atleast 32 GB of RAM. I would like to get more then 100 frames on max settings as my current setup and all previous setups have been terrible. I'M SICK OF 20 FPS GAMING! I own all the necescary peripherals and monitors and the money ready just need help putting together a list of good compatible parts.

Will you be overclocking?

And extra needs (like wifi)?

Not sure how the build minus the gpu is so cheap

5900x 12c as you requested

Decent b550 board, should have quite alot of features and good onboard ethernet

Shadow rock 3 cause it should be enough to cool your cpu non oced

Rgb ram cause idk it was the cheapest 32gb kit i could find

P5 ssd to help with moving large video files

Mesh rgb case + 1 non rgb fan for exhaust cause wth argb fans are really pricey in austrailia for some reason

Gpu is up to you

No reason going with x570 unless you want to use more than 1 gen4 nvme ssd

You may want to upgrade to a 5950x if you really need that many cores or just have excess budget

You may want to add more nvme ssds or some hdds for extra storage

I would also recommend this but you should get 3600mhz ram. Chances are this one will still OC to 3600 but that's not 100% sure.

6/10

Overspending on uneccesary things

Only diff between x and z aios is the stupid display on the waterblock of the z aio, then again freezer 360 or 420 would obluterate this aio

Op isnt ocing anyways so why even get an incredibly high end 16phase vrm board meant for xocing

Dont even bother with the 980 pro unless you are moving massive files on a regular basis like 4 or 8k video

Sata ssds are basically useless and outclassed by even dramless nvme ssds nowadays, dont bother

Op doesnt need incredibly overpriced ram either, just cause if the stupid brand doesnt mean its any different, even worse its cl18 not even cl16 xD like bruh come on atleast get cl14 if you are gonna massively overpay for ram

You are absolutely not finding a 3080 for that price unless you go to nvidia site where the fe are always out of stock

Not a bad case but lian li mesh is cheaper in austrailia

Good psu

Overpriced fan

Look at my build and see if theres anything ridicolously overpriced in it, you would prob point to the ssd or case

Yea sky high budget doesnt mean just spend all of it on shit that op doesnt need and wont even use, like you dont need to max out the budget xD

Then again i guess i may have cheaped out abit on my build as i tend to do on non oc builds, tell me that you wanna oc and ill shove a bloody water chiller in that budget xD

Well atleast you tried ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯
