Switch EKWB SPC with DDC

my wifes PC has an SPC Pump-Res-Combo in it but I am not 100% satisfied with the SPC pump.

Anyone knowes if a DDC fits on the Res? The mouinting holes are the same (50x50) and there even was

a Pump-Res-Combo for the SPC and DDC from EKWB a while ago.

But I still don't want to just order a DDC blind.

I know if you google it there is a reddit post that says they are not cross compatible but how could

this then ever have been a thing:

Maybe someone has both at home to try it out? I even do, but I don't wan't to drain both of my PCs to test fit it...
