Hello, I am currently trying to restart my pc to update its software. It has said restarting for the past 50 minutes .It is a widows ten laptop with a intel core I5 9th gen and a gtx 1650. Thanks

Do the unthinkable and hold the power button for 10 seconds.

do you have any better options or ideas? you can't do anything with your keyboard, mouse, monitor, computer, except sit there and watch it spin, perhaps endlessly. You either bite the bullet and force-restart the computer or you sit there and watch it forever. You have no other option.

hp laptops are notorious for having these exact problems o have owned 2 up laptops since 2012 and they have both had the same problems
