5600X would be really good, all you need.

 

If you also want to do more productivity work like CAD, rendering, video editing, etc, you could also consider a 5800X, the extra cores would come in handy.

 

For gaming only 5600X is all you need.

5600X is a beast. I bought a 5900X for 5GHz.. and was told 5GHz is over rated.. and as I later found out.. it is! If you don’t need the cores get the best one that suits you. I am still considering putting my 5600 back in..

I’ve herd the same information about how the 5600x competes with even the higher CPU’s as well. It’s incredible! Lol it depends on what you need the extra cores for, but the fact that the 5600x can still come close to the new CPU’s  just in performance in games, it’s crazy.

Well.. running 4x8GB in Aida64 was pretty entertaining. Considering how much I paid vs the systems it was keeping up with 🙂
