Asking OC question doesn't make sense.

He will do OC if he would like otherwise not, its entirely upto him.

By full setup... he means, whether any peripherals are needed or not. or any additional stuff that your friend might consider in this budget.

Another mediocre pcpartpicker list by me .-.

Gone intel cause for whatever reason 10700f is cheaper than a 5600x

A rather basic z490 board but good enough vrms for this 8 core and if you get a really good deal on the gpu and have some budget to spend consider getting a 10850k which is really close in price to a 5800x tho upgrade the cooler aswell unless you would like to undervolt

Gpu is up to you

Asthetics yeeted as usual, if you have some budget leftover then go ahead and spend on asthetics

On almost every parts list you post here on the forum; has 3200 Mhz RAM speeds, while Ryzen really benefits from faster timings and faster speed i.e. 3600 Mhz.

And the interesting thing is, they still got budget left. and by investing 10 or 15 bucks more you can get 3600 Mhz RAM...

So, may i ask, why do you do this?

Is there any logic behind this or what...????

Contrary to popular belief, 3600 CL16 barley makes any difference at all over 3200 CL16. The most I’ve seen is around a 4% performance benefit in some AAA games. Unless OP has a massive budget, 3200 CL16 is the move IMO.

In my list, I put a 3070ti and the price was $1426. If OP wanted to expand the budget just a little and get a 3080, they could. With 3600 CL16, they would have to spend around an extra $21 more. That makes $1447, which if they wanted to add a 3080, it makes it much more over budget.

TLDR - Not much more performance, saves money

Also, a 3060ti for $1500 is pretty mediocre imo. Since OP is gaming, a 5600x + 3070/3070ti would be a better combo. Also, that PSU is a bit overpriced and really unnecessary. If you really wanted a decent 850W, the Enermax D.F Revo is around $16 cheaper and is also a really good PSU.

Also that SSD is really overpriced. $100? That could get you a 1TB NVME drive.
