Dont bother with the case, just wastes budget if you already have a case, maybe get an airflow or mesh case like p300a which isnt just for asthetics and axtually will improve airflow hence improving your temps

Dont bother with the thermal paste either, get gc extreme or gd900 but the temp difference will be minimal unless you are using literal garbage thermal paste

What is your current board and why do you want to get a rather eh board with eh vrms which should be ok if you arent ocing it but it might struggle if you start ocing your cpu

And what is your current psu anyways?

A 500w with 80+ white doesnt seem like an upgrade to me

If we had your system specs maybe we could reccomend some actually useful upgrades and not just minimal upgrades or asthetic only upgrades

Rip airflow

First of all upgrade the case to a mesh case like p300a

Add another 8gb or 16gb stick to your system cause it likely only has one stick of ram which means its running in single channel which cripples cpu performance around 30%

Upgrade the cpu cooler to whatever basic 4 heatpipe you can find like gammax 400, freezer 34 (non esport non duo), or just whatever cheap chinese 4 heatpipe cooler

Will be better than that dinky cooler

upgrade the psu to something else

for cheap you can go evga 600w gd, half decent psu

for actually good psu go for a enermax revolution df 850/750 or msi mpg 850/750

upgrade the gpu as you mentioned

upgrade the mobo if you would like to upgrade the cpu in the future or would like to oc, i suggest b550 tomahawk

do these upgrades in order, if you are wondering why psu is thrid to last then thats because the stock psu is eh but still works

but the case, single channel ram, and cooler actually make a noticable difference in temps and performance and prob only increases wattage very slightly

obviously throwing in a 1070ti will make that psu go kaboom cause a 1070ti consumes quite alot more power than a 1650 super

and all the upgrades combined will def be out of budget so best to do the upgrades over time and not all at once
