NAS failure, need assistance

Go to solution Solved by HeroRareheart,

Update: I let the computer sit for a few hours while doing other things and booted it into safe mode which got it to boot successfully. I have no idea what's wrong but one of the drives is dying as is so i plan to pull off everything important and take it offline to repair/upgrade/maintenance.

I have an old PC running TrueNAS core and while trying to transfer some files off it my mail computer stopped being able to connect. When I went to check on the NAS it had an error along the lines of "Uncorrectable I/O failure on pool 'boot-pool'" After restarting the system it will POST and boot into the "welcome to TrueNAS" screen but upon selecting the boot ,option I just get a black screen. I'm pretty sure this means the boot drive is corrupted somehow and the easiest solution to my issue is just reinstall TrueNAS but  I want to double check here before I do anything in case that's going to create an issue.
