swapping out psu

should i swap out my corsair RM750X, have gotten a new build planned and the only thing so far i havent purchased was a new psu, it will be a system with a ryzen 7 5800x with a rtx 3070 and it will be a custom loop aswell

Nvidia recommends a 650w PSU for the 3070, and the 5800x is only 105w TDP. So your 750w will probably be just fine especially considering it is a high quality psu too.

I want to say it should be fine, but my advised bare minimum if you want to water cool and over clock is 850 gold or higher, the RM750X might be able to manage though if you want to wait and see. If you use another Corsair modular power supply for higher wattage you shouldn’t need to change the cables just plug and play

will be picking up a rm850x tomorrow, not sure about overclocking, will be putting my old psu in another build
