Hey so I noticed when I hover over the maximize button in Windows 11 I have only four layouts instead of 6 as shown in the Microsoft clip. I don't have the three windows side by side full height. Can this be enabled or is it based on screen size and my screen is not big enough?

In the future, please post Insider builds questions/problem under the Windows Insider Thread.

Windows 11 is still in development. Its target release date is, if no delays, end of the year.

Layout options depends on your screen resolution and display scaling.

Resolution and display scaling.

laptop 4k display and external monitor also 4k (I only installed it on my work laptop, like hell I'm risking crashes on my gaming rig at home).

Scaling is the 150% default for 4k

If it helps i can grab some monitors from around the office and test with 1440p and 1080p

Just set the Display scaling to something ridicules like 250% or whatever, and you'll see that now you'll only have 4 choices instead of 6.

ok thanks guys! Yeah I guess my display is smaller that's why. It's 1080p otherwise it's not 4k and my scaling is either 100% or 120% I am not sure but it's definitely because of the display but that's fine no problem I will use whatever I can with my display. If I want 6 I guess I will have to connect to my monitor which is bigger and use that as a display.
