Bios flashback not working

I just bought a new motherboard and cpu b55-a and r7 5800x and went to update bios because it wouldn’t boot into windows i have a drive with windows already on it and then i didn’t look when holding button down for 3 seconds and went to look to c is the light was blinking and it was not it was blank and that’s within 10 seconds and i held it down again and does the same thing doesn’t blink at all and idk what yo do

Did you make the typo?

 

Is this the ASUS B550-A, or the MSi B550-A?

ok so i got the usb in and the lushly started to blink and now it’s just a solid green

Sorry, just got caught up with message from work (after work hours).

Just make sure you are using the CORRECT USB port on the back.

The USB stick should be EMPTY with JUST the renamed BIOS file -- it should not be in a folder or something.

i may of put the wrong bios on it i’m going to try i diffeent version

BIOS version 2403 and 2006 would be the latest non-BETA releases.

bios downloaded on it and now it just won’t boot just keeps turning my monitor on and off

Any updates on this?

Did the BIOS update run successfully, or still having some issues?
