IGPUs and APUs reserve system memory for the gpu.  Sometimes intel chips will reserve it anyway even if you’re not using the gpu in the cpu.  

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I don’t even remember hearing of a 2300x before the lowest I thought ryzen+ went was 2400x. The x series stuff isn’t supposed to have an apu though. The stuff with apus is generally marked g not x.  I don’t think a 570 will push 1080@144hz under a whole bunch of circumstances.  That even applies to 580s, which a 570 emphatically is not.  Something is not right.

No I haven’t I’m still learning stuff about PCs rn and I’m a bit afraid if I go into my bios I will screw something up

You can't screw anything by just browsing through menus. And BIOS ask if you want to save settings on exit. I have too old hardware to give more hand, sadly.
