So when i did a fresh windows install after buying a new PC i realized it was throttling my supposed 1Gbs fiber internet speeds. FYI pc specs are intel i7 8700k and MOBO Asus rog strix z-390i gaming wifi. I updated all the drivers, checked the bios, and found nothing. Same with any apps possibly throttling it. Contacted ATT and nada. Tried changing the router settings and NAT to everything full open and Max of 999MBps and still no luck. Then i once again did a fresh install of windows deleted everything and boom it somehow worked? Now i built a ryzen build for my girlfriend and same issue. Still has a asus rog strix but b-550f chipset.

What are your speeds? What are you using to gauge those speeds? Are you on WiFi, or Ethernet? How many devices are on your network?

I was using speedtest.net and switching between wireless and ethernet CAT6. Only one on the network was me and i tested it through my phone as well. On my phone it got full essentially 999MBps average on the pc was around 20 to 30. I swapped testing services a few times to check through AT&T but technically that also runs off speedtest.net so i really didn't switch anything.  As far as what actually fixed it with my computer id assume somehow on the second fresh windows install?

Yeah, it was installed both times. As far as anything else not that i know of

GameFirst messes with your internet connection to "make your gaming better". What it actually does is make your internet speeds terrible by throttling certain applications. Uninstall it.
