Hello everyone,

I understand that UserBenchmark is now considered an unreliable site to use to compare parts. I used it before, when it was considered reliable, and I liked how you are able to easily compare two different parts with the two search bars at the top, side by side.

Are there any reputable sites that are similar to UB in terms of comparing price, overall performance, performance per games, etc.?

Thank you for any of your suggestions!

Youtube. Slightly more work but there seems to always be comparisons x GPU vs. x GPU with realtime gameplay and performance stats.

Ryzen 7 7800x3D -  Asus RTX4090 TUF OC- Asrock X670E Taichi - 32GB DDR5-6000CL30 - SuperFlower 1000W - Fractal Torrent - Assassin IV - 42" LG C2 - Windows 11 Pro

Or not that either. Most that i see in this category NEVER tell their patch/build number for the related softwares (games, drivers, windows, etc) and sometimes even downright inconsistent with disregarding in game benchmark for arbitrary gameplay footage.

Always stick to reliable in depth reviews from the likes of Anandtech, TPU, Gamers Nexus or Hardware Unboxed. Or if youre a massive ballers (or loves to abuse daddy besoz refund scheme), just test it yourself with softwares @Carolinesuggests.

Personally, I do. However there are countless kids in this forum daily who don't know how to interpret more or less anything said in an in-depth review. Or, how to translate that to a valid comparison between another product.

What they can interpret is a video, using the same CPU and RAM they have with a split screen of the same game that they might actually play of two GPU's they're considering. Its going to very easy for them to then make a decision and its far and away "good enough".

"test it yourself" is useless advice for a person trying to decide what to buy. Spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on any and all the parts you're considering, spending hours testing them, and then sending back the ones you decided against is impractical for most people, even taking advantage of Amazon's return policies.

YouTube comparison videos are a good place to start, especially for graphics cards. Don't take any of them as absolute truth, watch a lot of them and see if the results are consistent so you know someone isn't just faking or screwing up their settings to yield unrepresentative data.

From there reputable pro reviewers like some of those already mentioned usually include m graph comparison charts that are easily digestible even if you find watching/reading hour-long or ten thousand word reviews overwhelming.

Ultimately you have to do a little more work to get accurate information. Userbenchmark thrives in large part because it's easy and purports to offer a convenient one stop shop. Unfortunately as is so often the case what's easy isn't always right.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Thank you very much for your and everyone’s advice. Yes I am planning my build. YouTube videos can be great for showing real time performance, but I want to do some quick comparisons with a one stop shop type site. From what I understand of what you are saying, there are no good one stop shop type sites.

Thank you again everyone for all your suggestions!

If anyone does have any more advice, I am open to it!
