Looking for a 4K HDR Monitor for a reasonable price

Brannaz

Hi, looking to see what the best 4k HDR monitor is for under £600-£800. I'll be using it with my Xbox Series X. I'm a student and this monitor is only for next year when I'm studying abroad. Since I'll be selling it before I come back I don't want to buy a monitor that I'll 'lose' a lot of money on. I don't play the types of games that require higher frame rates so don't need anything above 60hz. Thanks.

This is my first post on the forum so if I've dragged on a bit its only because I want to answer any question anyone might have.

Sorry but for your budget you won't get 4K and real HDR. Not even when sacrificing a high refresh rate. But what you can get is a LG 27GP950 if you can find it in stock (like everything new nowadays). As it's highly sought after you could probably sell it for next to no loss.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Check out bestbuy , been using Samsung ( - UJ59 Series U32J590UQN 32" LED 4K UHD FreeSync Monitor (DisplayPort, HDMI) - Dark Gray/Blue  https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-ur55-series-28-ips-4k-uhd-monitor/6386391.p?skuId=6386391) for a couple of years for movies' and 60hz 4k gaming. it is not bad at all for around 350 and open box for cheaper, warranty can always be purchased too.  https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/27037893210  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143746472501?epid=19021988861&hash=item2177f51a35:g:qLMAAOSwOTZfZvD6
