Memory Issues Plaguing a Massive N00B

Currently have 1x 8gb 2933mhz ram (not sure if its dual rank) installed in an asus rog laptop, intel i5-10300H, 1650ti, and Warzone crashes within minutes of opening. The problem appears to be that my memory completely fills up. Would I make my situation better, or would I shoot myself in the foot by adding 2 sticks of 4gb 1600mhz dual rank ram in addition to the 8gb stick mentioned previously?

I advice you to get the exact same ram stick as the already installed 8Gb one, and install another one of that. Technically speaking i dont think you would even be able to install the other 2 sticks, since 1) most laptops only have 2 lots 2) 1600mhz is the older, ddr3 version speed, which has different socket for it than ddr4.

Both sodimm, but ddr3 sodimm is not the same as ddr4 sodimm. They are not compatible.
