Motherboards Which One?

Hi i was wondering what is the difference between Asus's lineup of ROG motherboards?

What is the difference between Maximus VI Hero , Maximus VI Formula and Maximus VI Gene

And which one do you think is the best?

Ofc the formula is the best (have to say that since i own it )

 

But the differences are not that big. There are some features you get when going up the ROG line, such as better overclocking hardware/software etc. The maximus Vi gene is also M-ATX while the rest you have listed are ATX. The only reason i chose the Formula over the Hero, was because of looks. The armor was too sexy

Well, the Gene is an mATX board and the others are ATX. There's a lot of differences, but I'm not going to list them, it would take forever. 

 

The Formula is the best out of those, but they're overpriced in my opinion. There's motherboards that are just as good for much less.

No offense to you OP, but you're asking questions that can be solved by a 20 second google search. Sure, ask the forum if you want product suggestions, but deciding to rely entirely on us for basic technical information isn't what we're here for. Taking a visit to the ASUS ROG website would've answered your question quite easily.

TUF Sabertooth if you don't feel like spending an arm and a leg for a good motherboard. Even Asus Deluxe boards. ROG is just for e-peen for 99% of the market. 99.9% really.
