WhatsApp struggle to backup

Anyone with this problem? It gets stuck around 90% for a week if not more.

 

If i was to reinstall it, would i appear as new member joined in the groups that I'm already in?

WhatsApp went through some very severe issues recently.  Facebook changed the TOS sometime ago but the changes have recently started to go live. (Which means basically no one should be using it anymore)  Might be a Facebook based issue

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
