Well if you're just gaming you're fine with a 6300 or 8302, i remember someone on the forums has their 8350 near 5GHz on that board. and it's rather cheap.

im not saying the 6300/8320/8350 are bad i highly recommend them but micro atx amd builds other then am2/+ are pointless because your loosing out on allot

Not at all, if you're just gaming then you're not really losing out on anything, most people that're gaming don't need a bunch of features.

Hmm. I guess you're spending your money

I'd try the GA78LMT-USB3 (rev5).

It's a bit cheaper and just looks better, vrm heatsinks etc.

Another option is the Athlon 760K and a A88X mATX Board like the A88XM-D3H as they don't lose out on a lot of features modern boards (7xx chipsets on AM3 is OLD). Things like Sata 6gb/s (if you want to get ssd later date) you can do a basic oc to 4ghz without too many issues even on stock. (don't try overclocking an fx on 760G).

When i saw the post's title i thought you were being kidnapped :o or something so i leapt into combat mode  and clicked on the post only to find your peril is deciding between two motherboards. Choose the ASUS one of course once your case can fit it.

Well the problem is neither of those boards in the OP are appropriate for an FX8350 at stock (without OC). And they only have SATA 3B/s so you'll kind of waste potential from your SSD. The M5A97 R2.0 is the best option on that page if you can afford it and can use a ATX size board.

Another option is i3 now with H81, and then i5 4440 or so later on.
