I am using Asus TUF FX505DD laptop that i bought almost 2 years ago, i added 8gb of the same ram that was in the laptop already and added a 240gb ssd for more storage, anyways its been all great until the last ~2 months, i have been getting random fps drops for no reason. My fps is usually 150-180 in league of legends and every few minutes sometimes every 5 minutes sometimes every 20 minutes fps drops to like 10 for 5-10 seconds and then goes back to normal. So i thought it might be overheating problem i bought the laptop cooling pad didn't change a thing. So i cleaned the dust and changed the thermal pads that were rock solid for a thermal paste and the issue is still present. And this is happening on my browser too if im watching something it will start lagging and then the video will stop for a few seconds. All my drivers are up to date and i installed a fresh copy of windows few days ago. If there is a solution to this i would appreciate it!

Since it is happening in your browser too, it could be the video card. I would use a software to completely wipe the video drivers off the laptop, reboot, and reinstall the newest driver to see if it fixes it.

AMD 5800X | Noctua NH-15

ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming | 3200MHz 16GB RAM

RTX 3080 XC3 Ultra

750W EVGA PSU

I will give it a try can you let me know the program to delete the drivers?

I believe I used a program called drivesweeper but you may want to search around and find one you are comfortable with.
