Hi.

I'm considering to build my computer. For starting, I've selected the following items:

Asus Prime H310M-E/BR Intel LGA 1151 - DDR4 Micro ATX

Intel Core i7 9700 Coffee Lake - 3.00GHz 4.70GHz Turbo 12MB

Memory: Ddr4 16Gb 2666Mhz Hyper X Fury - Kingston

Are there any compatibility issues? Am I forgetting something? I don't have a GPU now, I'll have to buy it later

Thank you in advance

Well, the CPU and motherboard platform you've selected are two generations old. Is there a reason for that? Are the prices of 10th and 11th-gen Intel, or Ryzen 3000/5000 too high in your country?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

I’m seeing a 12MB that doesn’t seem like it’s attached to anything.  The thing won’t game massively well in the future, but you’re not gaming.  A 9700 is a pretty fast way to do 8 threads. I’m seeing no gpu though and the iGPU in the 9700 just ain’t that great.  Video processing as a whole seems to be the weak point of this build.  Audio processing has some oddities I’m not familiar with as well.  People who do audio talk about DACs a lot and I’m not seeing one.  Iirc what audio chips are on the board AMD how they are payed out can matter too.  I don’t know much about it though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

I think the 12MB is the cache on the 9700, he just copied and pasted from somewhere that thought the cache was a critical thing to have in the product listing title.

Fair enough.  I don’t know how much gpu you might need.  That like the audio while it might be something to look at isn’t something I have a specific recommendation for.   If you haven’t seen one though, The new intel video card would bring things up to Xe levels.  They’re only available in prebuilts currently though. They apparently compete quite favorably with 1030s because they have things that were omitted on the 1030 for product differentiation.

Yes, they are quite expensive

The DAC is the external Behringer U-phoria UMC 1820 and I´ll buy a video card as far as I get the money. For the moment, I'd like to know if this set I intend to buy is OK
