hi there, i have a problem here that i hope someone can help me with.
i recently noticed my temp were running high, so i checked and sure enough, i was sitting at 40 from the usual 29-30 idle. anyway. i noticed that my core clock on my gpu was sitting 718mhz and not going any lower.. it usually runs at 135mhz at idle.. i do have 3x21"inch monitors in nvidia surround portrait 3240x1920 hooked up through vga dvi and hdmi...and also my 4th tv monitor 1680x1050 into the display port out on my gpu, with an hdmi cord and  a display port adapter on it.

my core speed on gpu wont go any lower then 718mhz when my 4th screen is plugged in. anyone know why??? i mean, why is the clock ramp up so much with that 4th screen,, the resoloution with my 3 21" monitors is way higher then my tv and its clocked at 135mhz, but as soon at i add my crappy tv my gpu needs to ramp up like that??? im stumped.... anyone know anything

Does it happen all the time or does it only happen ONCE the 4th display is plugged in?

only when i enable the 4th display in nvidia control panel,, when i disable it goes back to normal... thats weird that my low rez tv is making the core jump up like that.... i dont get why its such a big jump,, like 135mhz to 718mhz with one tv,, thats not right... but yes, the screen can be plugged in and stay at 135mhz. but as soon as i actually enable it in the settings,, it wont ramp down from 718mhz
