Can't boot from SSD!

What happens if you set the usb as a boot device?

Turns out, the SSD is not in the "Qualified Vendors List." So it is not compatible with the motherboard, apparently.

I recently acquired an old Asus P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard. I swapped out the old HDD for an SSD with Windows 10, but it won't boot! The BIOS settings detect the SSD properly as a "hard drive", but when I exit the settings, the screen outputs "No hard drive detected", and proceeds to an infinite blank screen with a blinking cursor. Please help me!

I have uploaded a video to youtube demonstrating my configurations, as well as the boot process/results here.

Does the bootable usb show as a device in the bios?

Can you try booting from a CD/DVD?

Can you try a different USB? How did you make the usb bootabe?

I tried using windows installation media tool like usual. I've also used a different usb.

It doesn't really work that way, any sata drive should work fine. I think the issue is with the os install on the drive, not the drive its self.

Also the ssd is newer than the board, and they normally don't update the qvl
