$300 Android (battery/5g)

Aereldor

Need an Android phone for my sister (US)

  • Factory unlocked. Needs to be used multiple sim cards in different countries
  • Gotta be $300 or lower, preferably closer to $200.
  • Dual-sim preferred, wide international band support essential
  • Needs to have long battery life, whether through a 5000+ mAh battery or clever software tricks
  • 5G please
  • Decent camera, though we both use GCam so it's forgiving
  • A good screen and speakers aren't essential but they're definitely nice to have

I was leaning towards a G9 Power, ticks every box besides 5G, but she wants to keep this phone for 5 years or so, figured it was important.

Looking forward to your recommendations!

I think you should get the OnePlus Nord 5G.

Please provide link(s) to the seller you intend to buy the phone from.

I don't see how a 720p screen and single bottom firing speaker can be considered 'good'

Like I said they're not really a priority. Any US seller that has factory unlocked phones - Amazon, Best Buy, wherever.

The G9 power apparently works with T-mobile as my G7 power did, but honestly just considering a Pixel 4a 5G. It's $50 over budget but just seems like a good phone overall, and the small ~3800mAh battery apparently lasts all day thanks to the lower tier specs and OLED screen

We're only a few months away from the 5A. Might be worth waiting.

Ah good point, she does need something soon though, her phone is literally falling apart, and unfortunately leaks suggest an August launch. Damn it, we really like the idea of the Pixel 5a, because it'll probably keep the OLED screen and have 5G for $350.
