Different fan amperage and circuit wire positions

Hi everyone,

I've bought a new fan for my laptop, a toshiba satellite m50-a-11e, since I broke one wire of my last fan, I fixed it, but I'm worried about it. 

 

The new fan just turns on at the beginning and at high temperatures around 80, it turns on with high speed till temperature goes down to +70, then it turns off.

My last fan turns on even at lower temperatures than 60.

 

I'm thinking about return it, but I'd like to know whats the problem.

Supposedly, Its for the same laptop, but the new one has 0.4A and the last one has 0.5A. I've just seen that the position of the wires in the circuit is different too.

They both are 3 pins fan. The new one has red-yellow-empty spot-black wires and the last one red-empty spot-yellow-black wires.
