How do I connect a monitor/display to the Asus ROG Zenith II Alpha?

Hi all,

 

I cannot seem to find a display port or an HDMI port that I can connect to a monitor for the Asus ROG Zenith II Alpha, any ideas?

Generally the expectation is that workstation boards have GPU's on them so you would use that.

I believe i'm right in saying thread ripper does not have a integrated gpu.

You connect it to the GPU you'll have installed, TR has no integrated graphics so you can't run without one.

Thank you, I have a really old graphics card, is it ok to use that for the time being? The graphics card I have is the EVGA GEFORCE GTX 970.

Sure that will be fine, a 970 is still very relevant today.

Thank you again, so this 970 is quite old(like before 2014 I think, with 512 gb). It has a lot of dust on it that is hard to remove. I don't want to risk the 3970x CPU or motherboard so I was thinking of buying a new graphics card. I am only using this for compute so I do not need a powerful GPU. Would the Leadtek Quadro p620 be ok? I only really need something that allows me to plug in my monitor.

The GTX970 came out in 2014 and has 4GB VRAM.
