Okay so my dad brought home this windows xp computer that had p4 @2.4ghz, 768mb ram, etc.

I had much better parts to put in it, so I did. I put my i5 750 quad core with an ati 4350, 8gb ram, and the hddd that had xp. Expecting it to bsod right away, I tryed starting it. I stared in disbelif when in actually booted, and I was able to get to desktop and all was good (after a shit ton of found new hardware wizard).

Yet windows 7 couldn't handle going from a core 2 quad q6600 to a i7 3770k when I upgraded. Blows my mind that xp even booted.

XP=still most stable operating system in windows lineup lol. Goes to show new isn't always better.
