New motherboard and CPU causing problems

Hey y'all, I've run into a few problems since installing a new CPU and motherboard. The pc isn't able to shut down fully; the hard drive and peripherals turn off, but the fans and lights are still on. I also can't restart or put the pc to sleep anymore. The bios is up to date and I tried a clean install of windows as well (lost a Minecraft world so this is important). Also, when I'm in the bios, any key input is severely laggy. The motherboard is an AORUS X570 elite and the CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600x. Thank you for any help!
